Avalon Waterways | Free Airfare or Save Up to $3,000 Per Couple

Considering Europe in 2027?

Avalon Waterways is currently offering a choice of free airfare or savings of up to $3,000 per couple on select 2027 European river cruises.

Avalon is especially known for its Panorama Suites, with beds positioned to face the river through wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling windows. It can be a great fit for travelers who want a little more independence and flexibility built into their river cruise experience.

Uniworld Boutique River Cruises | Save Up to $1,500 Per Person

Uniworld is offering $500 to $1,500 per person in savings on select 2027 river cruises, with greater savings available on longer journeys.

And there’s an extra benefit for some of our past Uniworld travelers: River Heritage Club savings may be combined with this offer for even more value.

There’s plenty happening at Uniworld in 2027, too, including the new S.S. Audrey and new Cruise & Tour itineraries that combine a river cruise with additional time exploring on land.

Tauck | Looking All the Way Ahead to 2028

Yes, we said 2028.

This one is less about a sale and more about getting first choice.

Tauck has already opened reservations for its 2028 European river cruises, including journeys along the Rhine, Danube, Douro, Rhône and Seine, as well as Christmas Market itineraries.

You can reserve your preferred departure and accommodations before final pricing is released. Once the journey is priced, you’ll have two weeks to decide whether you’d like to proceed. If you decide not to, your deposit will be fully refunded.

Why are we talking about river cruises more than two years away?

Because Tauck’s most popular departures can sell out remarkably early, particularly when travelers want specific dates or accommodations.

If 2028 sounds a little too far away, there is still limited space on select 2027 Tauck river cruises, including:

Royal Caribbean | Icon of the Seas Is Coming to Texas!

This one isn’t technically a promotion, but it’s definitely something we think our Texas travelers should know about.

Icon of the Seas is coming to Galveston in 2027.

That creates some pretty exciting possibilities for Fall Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Spring Break vacations without having to fly the family to Florida before the cruise even begins.

Even better, Lisell Travel has access to discounted Royal Caribbean fares that aren’t available when booking directly, and exclusive senior rates are also available on select sailings.

Windstar Cruises | Caribbean or Canary Islands?

For travelers interested in something smaller and a little different, Windstar has winter departures available in both the Caribbean and the Canary Islands & Madeira.

And a Couple That Are a Little Different…

These two caught our attention for very different reasons.

Explora Journeys | Calling All Solo Travelers!

Solo travelers, this one is for you.

Through September 8, 2026, Explora Journeys is offering up to 35% savings on eligible journeys along with a reduced 10% deposit.

But there’s another offer that we find especially interesting: zero solo supplement on select journeys through 2028.

Why is that such a big deal?

Solo travelers normally pay a substantial premium to have their own suite on a cruise. Eliminating that supplement can make a significant difference.

And this isn’t just for someone traveling completely alone.

We immediately thought about friends and family members who want to travel together but don’t necessarily want to share a room. Everyone gets their own space without one person paying the typical single supplement.

Current eligible journeys include select sailings in the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Northern Europe, Alaska, Canada/New England, Middle East and beyond, with the current list extending into 2028.

Mexico, Caribbean & Costa Rica | Save Up to $300

Prefer to trade the cruise ship for a resort?
