Farewell to Bordeaux

Our final included excursion was a tour of the city of Bordeaux. Earlier in the week we had an evening “illuminations” bus tour of the city. Lovely!!

Good friends, good food, good wine…

Today we had a Sauternes tour; Exclusive Artisanal lunch & wine pairing at Chateau d’Arche followed by a visit to another vineyard and wine tasting.

Bergerac & Chateau Monbazillac

Today was a full day Bergerac walking tour, which included the Farmers Market, and also a walking tour of Chateau Monbazillac. Statues of Cyrano de Bergerac are found everywhere in this village.

Windmills, Chocolate & Sunsets

Excursions for today included a visit to the Lansac Windmill and the 17th century Blaye Citadel.
